If a person says no comment or directs your question away, thou fricking report that they refused to comment.
I've no idea what the frick self entitled mentality journalists have that they think they should be allowed to just stand in people's face to repeatedly harrass a person.
I only think this is ok in ONE situation. When confronting someone who has been harassing themselves.
And even then, careful

You are right. This does not apply to all. But I was not surprised to those making light of the assault.
Good, I guess there was some merit to the accusation.

Here's Toddy weeping over this yet he supports the party that has these people representing it:
Maxine Waters, Anthony Weiner, Rod Blagojevich, John Edwards, Hank Johnson.

Let me be clear
This goes beyond politics
Reporters in general have largely started to behave as if they're all part of the national enquirer
Like they should be able to harrass people ad nauseum.
Journalists are basically scum in politics and outside politics
If you treat people that way, you tend to eventually get a reaction
Start behaving like fricking humans

Definitely. They had witnesses. Doesn't look like there is much doubt. He should be charged. When you are running for office like that, you have to be able to control yourself.

You do know that it was Weiner's third time, right?
You really need to look up Weiner if you think it happened after his political career was over.
He admitted that it had been going on since 2008. (I would guess much longer) And, lets not forget AFTER that time he announced he was running for mayor of New York
in which he was a heavy favorite to win with widespread Democratic support.
On July 23, 2013, following the second set of sexting allegations that Weiner (using the alias "Carlos Danger") had continued to send explicitly photographs after his resignation from Congress, he acknowledged that he had sent messages to at least three women in 2012. One recipient stated that Weiner described himself to her as “an argumentative, perpetually horny middle-aged man”.[
So, lets not paint Weiner as only doing his deeds after he left office. He left office (Congress) the first time because of the first sexting scandal.
I was merely pointing out the lack of morals on the left, since you guys were weeping over a Republican being elected.
Lets not forget these politicians that were elected after being convicted of crimes:
1. Ted Kennedy
2. William Jefferson
3. Charles Diggs
4. James Michael Curley
5. Marion Barry
We can go on, if you'd like. So, maybe you guys should weep for your own criminals before worrying about others.

He's been charged with assault.
quote:
Greg Gianforte, the Republican candidate in Montana's special congressional election, has been charged with misdemeanor assault after he allegedly body slammed a reporter and broke his glasses on Wednesday night.

As he should be. I don't know how savage it was, but I am surprised it was only a misdemeanor.

The country could use having a few more reporters getting the shite kicked out of them

Hilarious how much more outrage this generates on the left than dead little girls.
Let's not forget the worst part of this is the backlash it will cause against the majority of peaceful republicans.

I joined field producer Faith Mangan and photographer Keith Railey in Bozeman for our scheduled interview with Gianforte
quote:
During that conversation, another man — who we now know is Ben Jacobs of The Guardian — walked into the room with a voice recorder, put it up to Gianforte's face
quote:
Gianforte told him he would get to him later. Jacobs persisted with his question. Gianforte told him to talk to his press guy, Shane Scanlon.
quote:
Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte
So the left is okay with verbal abuse now?
Gianforte is out of line, but he also shouldn't be subjected to someone crashing another meeting, shoving a recorded in his face, refusing to leave when asked, and still continuing to verbally harass the candidate.

He's nothing compared to the traitor in the white house. He probably did it on purpose knowing the Republican party is the pro-violence party. This should drum up support among violent alt-right thugs and the like.

Limp wrists like Toddy and LSUTANGERINE love dudes, but hate when they handle their business like a man. Sissies like them are up there on my list of worst kinds of people...

Toddy - see what I mean? The Republican party is the party of violent thugs. Giaforte's chances of winning now are actually greater.
