His past seems pretty tame to me compared to a lot of people. In your view, a pretty significant portion of the population should never stand up for what's right, and should instead just do as they're told. I don't think that's an America most of us want to live in.

United's legal team are pushing this shite out into the press.

Doing everything they can to make the settlement for the doctor as cheap as they can possibly make it before they pay it to make this go away.

Muh, not gay, no sex issues. Newspapers reported on a different guy with the same first and last name.

I congratulate United for taking the "Progressive" approach to this.

Double down on the already negative narrative, and now, we dig into this guy's past to destroy him.

Wonder if any of his kids or grandkids will be next?

No, it wouldn't. My arse would have accepted the travel voucher, or gotten off the plane when law enforcement asked me to

Otherwise, I have to agree with Sterling, Mike Brown, and every either Constitutional scholar who claims they have the right to refuse the request of duly sworn LE officials

GET YOUR arse off the plane, then call your lawyer

Cuck.

Those vouchers, supposedly, were offered in the form of $50 vouchers which couldn't be combined. Essentially worthless as far as an airline ticket goes.

If true, I can understand why no one took them up on it. There is literally no incentive at all.

Still doesn't excuse the gay from willfully disobeying a lawful order, or forcing his way back into the plane after being removed

We got stuck in Miami on the way home from our honeymoon. We spent 7 hours in a crammed are with hundreds of passengers and no bathrooms--which caused some problems because they initially refused to allow people to exit the area to use it, even children.

Finally at about midnight we were given a hotel room and some vouchers. The room was paid directly, but they wouldn't take the vouchers became they said American Airlines often refuse reimburse them.

I would imagine United's vouchers are just as useless, outside of the airport.

That's not my view at all. He's free to stand up for what's right just as anyone. Just be prepared for people to dig into your past because that's the world we live in.

I support his choice. Not sure I would have done the same thing considering his past if it were me though.

I support the airlines choice to ask him to leave their property as well. The cop is another story.

This guy didn't stand up for what is right. He made an arse of himself fighting a lawful order by police.

Got his arse kicked for his troubles.

What a fricked up world we live in when guys like this are heroes and cops who are out risking their lives everyday are pigs who need to be fried like bacon.....

Shameful

Not sure what this has to do with what happened on the flight

UA (or their supporters) is apparently trying to smear the paid passenger that they also beat the shite out of.
