Dude this election is over...
There is nothing in the debates that will change Landrieu's fate.

Any Maness voter that votes for that count should be deported.

The problem isn't going to be maness voters crossing over, its that they'll stay home entirely

Very true. Hopefully, that will not happen.
frick this state if it does and that pig wins again.

How do you know he isn't?
He would not be taking the knee as you say if he were.
It is unbelievable how much the first four days resembled 08 in terms of minority turnout as a percent of the vote.
I would have guessed minority turnout without Obama on the ballot would be down but in the first four days it looks like they are coming out. The Landrieu machine is pretty strong.

A. When you're ahead in the polls, you don't debate. That's political strategy 101.
Beat me to it. This is exactly right.

Nobody cares about the debates. The only people likely to watch are those who have a rooting interest in one of the candidates and is hoping the other messes up.

Why didn't Bill Cassidy show up?
His people are afraid people will see and hear him live.
He'll be another David Vitter. Like a sock in a dryer. Once he goes we'll never see or hear from him again.

Cassidy declined the invitation to participate in this debate 47 days ago. Same situation as the Tillis-Hagan North Carolina "debate" last Wednesday . Hagan had declined to participate in that one back in July, and a thread was started that she had "skipped out".

Really? God forbid he give a speech on the floor of the Senate.
If he cares about his constituents, why do you think he got got his buddies on the Senate side to filibuster the Keystone bill? LINK
I think we know why. He put his frankenstein head above the people of Louisiana.

Maness was stumping with Chris McDaniel. Hopefully he wasn't getting any sore loser ideas.

that's quite overrated. it's not like those debates do anything except affect the profiles of the speakers

he doesn't represent my beliefs, so i didn't vote for him. that was simple

and so did landrieu, in a much bigger situation (ACA), and she's paying for it right now

Mary Landrieu fits this description pretty well too.

And you think if Cassidy was in tonight's debate he would change the minds of all those "minority" early voters?
Posted on 10/27/14 at 8:53 pm to SlowFlowPro
It's amazing. Everyone around complaining about polished politicians, then criticize Cassidy for not being a polished politician.

Do you ever get tired of making personal attacks against really decent, nice people?
Posted on 10/27/14 at 9:05 pm to I B Freeman
These types of debates are pointless.

Turn out for early voting, which ends Tuesday at 6 p.m., is far ahead of the 2010 midterms but not likely to surpass the numbers casting ballots early in the 2012 presidential election, Secretary of State Tom Schedler said Monday.
More Democrats than Republicans and other party/no party — combined — have voted early, so far, for the Nov. 4 election, he said. Early voters followed the state’s racial makeup with about two-thirds of the early voters white and about 31 percent black.
