I get called a liberal here regularly, but I've only ever voted for Republicans for president or Congress.

I voted for WJC in '96, not because I was a liberal, but because I honestly thought Bob Dole would die in office. I knew Newt & Co. would keep him in check, thanks to the Republican takeover in Congress.

I'm still pretty socially liberal, but in the sense that I simply don't give a shite about most social issues. Your gay? Great, I don't give a frick. I'm not. I don't loose sleep over the abortion issue. I do fricking hate PC culture however. What I do loose sleep over is my insurance going through the roof. The only issue I give a shite about socially is guns. I'm pro second amendment to the point I would have been a single issue voter had I not agreed with Trump on fiscal issues. I want another Scalia on the court to solidify Heller.

Yes, voted Obama in 08 and almost did in 12, but didn't. I tend to consider myself somewhere between republican and libertarian. When the republican candidate attempts to push their own Christian values into law, I tend to swing to the libertarian or democratic candidate.

I happily voted for Trump though.

Every year that goes by, the closer I get to being a full blown ancap.

I thought I was when I was like 16. I didn't understand government and don't think I fully grasped most of government until in my 30's.

I think the voting age should be changed to at least 25. Kids shouldn't decide what's best for our country, just like you can't become prez until the age of 35. Wisdom comes with life experiences and time.

Admittedly, at one time, I leaned left. First year of college, before I had to work 80 hour weeks when I was starting my business only to get the shite kicked out of me by uncle Sam on April 15th.

The hit and run post is more a function of a busy job and posting from my phone when I'm bored. I can't always devote an hour to flushing out an argument.

And some shite that gets posted here deserves to be ridiculed and condescended (is that a word?). I'll engage in substantive debate when the topic and the posters warrant a decent effort.

There were times in my high school/college days I questioned by conservative upbringing but never went full lib.

Saw the light for good mid 20s.

No. I will admit to not voting for Republicans before, but I have never voted for a Democrat.

Never even came close.

After seeing the response by Democrats to this election, I never will vote for them either.

Currently 28.

I would have been considered liberal in my early teens - by the standards in place then. By today's standards I was never a liberal = I have always valued truth and logic.

No

A 2nd amendment loving, pro life, environmentalist, who'd rather allow queers to have same sex unions (than marry) but still think they have a right to exist ... so yeah that makes me a liberal in your paint-by-numbers scheme.
