I've never flown United but they have the best fares out of Houston.

What's your experience with United/Houston?

Eh.

I fly them pretty much exclusively because it's really my only choice but I like it much better than AA. Continental was better.

They are fine. They do seem to be playing catch up to Delta and even American in a lot of areas, including reliability and customer service, but for the most part your experience will be fairly similar. Delta is the major carrier that is winning all of the awards these days, but price is still the major deciding factor so if United is the cheapest, I'd go with them.

It's the very worst.

It has the same clientele as walmart.

SWA is my go to airline.

I don't even shop. If SWA goes there I am on them.

I dont fly a lot, so maybe I dont really have a clue, but as long as I get to my destination I dont really give a shite about what airline I use.

In my experience, they're easily the worst of the major domestic carriers (excluding the low-cost models like Spirit or Frontier). American and Delta are both significantly better. Of course the problem with Houston is you're probably gonna be stuck flying them if you want the best deal.

I will give United credit for one thing--They have the best app in the biz by far.

Not great, but I wouldn't pay more or pick a longer route/layover to fly a different airline. It's really hit or miss just like the rest of them.

It's the worst. Unfortunately, it is the only practical carrier for certain destinations. I hate United.

Not as good as American or Delta imo. Random delays for paperwork, customer service issues, lost baggage are all what I've encountered.

Couple years ago I had booked a round trip United flight to LA for a visit and my grandmother died 3 weeks prior to that date. Called them up and they changed date for $150 fee so I could now fly home sooner for funeral. What they didn't tell me was that fee is $150 PER flight. So they charged another $150 when I was flying back, even charged that twice accidentally(so now a total of $450 charged). When I called them to ask about the extra charges they ended up just waiving second set of charges all together. So they screwed up...but then I ended up coming out better because of it.

Well...I'm torn between hopeful and terrified.
