I am looking to book an outdoor vacation for the family (12yo boy, 15yo girl, and wife). I am thinking something along the lines of a lake with a stocked pond for fishing and kayaking, a nice cabin with amenities (electricity, TV, AC), and a shooting range to shoot skeet and plink targets. We are lookiing to do this around the 4th of July timeframe. Willing to travel a little distance if the setup is beautiful and amenities match what we are looking for. Any suggestions from the sage OB ballers? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Big cedar lodge might fit your requirements but it may be too late to get a reservation there for that date

Try lake Tiak o'khata in Louisville, MS...just like summer camp that you attended when young. It is not fancy, but is as comfortable as it can be....

I hope this is a joke. I spent a god forsaken weekend there every summer as a kid for a family reunion.

To the op- go to NW Arkansas and get a cabin. Tons of fishing options in the area and great sights with plenty of activities

Look up Rock Castle Shooting center and Park Mammoth Resort in Kentucky. I don't know about the fishing part, but everything else should be covered.

Thank you to everyone that has taken time to respond. The suggestions are much appreciated. I am investigating each of the leads provided. Please keep them coming. I will let you know what we ultimately decide to do and how it it all worked out.

It might be too late to rent a cabin though

Check out Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in the Buffalo River area.

Horseback riding, stocked ponds, rock climbing, canoeing, disc golf, walking archery range, zip line, via ferrata, etc..

It's a pretty amazing place.

This.

And Big Cedar Lodge as mentioned earlier.

Lake Degray has some cabins, and a lodge. Nice golf course, horseback riding and hiking nearby in Hot Springs. Only about 25 minutes from Hot Springs if the weather turns bad.

Flint Creek in Wiggins MS is cool. Big lake, water park, fishing, boat rental, hiking, and nice cabins that are cheap. Worth checking out

Lake Ouachita just west of Hot Springs Arkansas. Surrounded by National forest, so I'm not sure about shooting stuff, but its a great area. Go the cabin route or rent a houseboat.

I wasn't sure, but I looked some more:

Horseshoe Canyon does do skeet shooting and have a .22 range as well. The walking archery range is freaking awesome, though.
