re: The Fly Fishing Thread: Questions, pics, discussion all here - LSUtiger17
What bluemoons said on both the rod and reel. I have an 8wt bvk and it's great. I've read good things on the behemoth too. I have a 5 wt tfo pro ii that I use sometimes, and it's a great rod for the price. I've never fished it in an 8wt though. I expect you might want a little more backbone than it ...

re: Man made pond boundary legal question - LSUtiger17
Trespass and nuisance possibly. It would probably be cheaper and easier to just work it out with the neighbor and leave filing suit as a last resort....

"Laura". How do you pronounce it? - LSUtiger17
And where are you from. I'm from LA and I pronounce it LAR-a. My girlfriend is from Chicago and she pronounces it LOR-a. I never realized that there was a discrepancy in pronunciation until tonight...

Streetcars on St. Charles on Friday - LSUtiger17
Does anyone know what time the streetcars on St. Charles will stop running for the uptown parades Friday? I'm looking to eat a late lunch in the CBD then hop on a streetcar on my way uptown. Is this doable? ...

re: 2 days in Florence or 1 in Florence and 1 in Pisa? - LSUtiger17
I'd spend the full 2 days in Florence. The leaning tower isn't overly impressive, and besides that, Pisa is just panhandlers trying to sell you fake designer items....

re: OT Lawyers: Question about Non-Compete - LSUtiger17
A non compete in Louisiana can only restrict competition in geographic areas where the company is currently performing business and those parishes must be explicitly listed in the agreement. If the agreement was drafted in Georgia, I would think that including Louisiana in the non-compete agr...

re: Legal Advice and Personal Attacks Required Within - LSUtiger17
My wife was rear ended and USAA handled everything with the other driver's insurance without it counting as a "claim"
Ok but that is different. There is an exclusion in most personal auto policies for valet drivers. That is the issue. His PAP, if it has this exclusion, will no...

re: Day trips from Lyon - LSUtiger17
Paris is a 2 hour train ride away. Avignon is nice too. Cannes and the coast are a 4 hour drive or 2 hour train away. Are you only spending the day, or do you have a weekend to work with. If it's a weekend, you could be anywhere in Southern Europe after a 3 hour flight or less. Don't overlook Lyo...

re: Do Russian history students learn about WWII the other way around? - LSUtiger17
Without US and British bombing there might not have been a stalemate in Russia and they might've been overrun. Also, they were only an ally because we had a common enemy, not a common goal, so it was imperative that we reach Berlin first. Without our boots on the ground in Europe in 1944 the chance ...
