re: Germany teaching male refugees how to pick up women - LSUtiger17
Birth rates rise and fall.
Maybe so but Poland's offering pretty big incentives to citizens to have 3 or more kids. It seems like young people in Central Europe/Germany aren't having enough children to support their economies in the future ...

re: When did men decide 30 is the new 15? (FB post) - LSUtiger17
That girl clearly hasn't been to Italy or Europe. Sexual harassment was rampant over there. Literally saw at least one of the girls in our group get groped every night we went out this summer. ...

re: What Are the Chances to Transfer into LSU Law from Southern Law? - LSUtiger17
Absolutely take the LSAT again. I guess it's too late to take the December, but he can still take the February. I had a below average GPA for LSU coming out of undergrad. I underperformed and got a 160 in December. I decided to delay sending in my application and took the February test and got a 165...

re: Who here has ever been to Oia, Greece? - LSUtiger17
I went this past summer on a day trip from Heraklion, Crete to Santorini. The day trip is absolutely not the way to do Santorini. We only had 90ish minutes in Oia, and most of that time was spent in an argument over me wanting to explore the town and not watch my gf buy a coverup. Still, Oia was ver...

re: Need help with London hotel recommendations please - LSUtiger17
I stayed at Hotel Mercure in Bloomsbury this summer. It was a good value for London, and I thought the location was great. It's as close as we could get to everything we wanted to be close to without spending and arm and a leg. Everything is within 3 miles, and it has some cool areas to walk to. SOH...

re: For the "people leave in blowouts, big deal" crowd - LSUtiger17
Right before halftime means that a lot of those 'empt'y seats belonged to people standing in line for concessions. There are seriously only 3-4 concessions stands in the whole student section. So if you want a sip of water or something to eat, then your arse is going to have to miss some of the game ...

30 years and you may be good through acquisitive prescription. I'm not sure if that extends to lessees or just landowners though. ...

re: The Fly Fishing Thread: Questions, pics, discussion all here - LSUtiger17
I can't help much on the flies, other than that I'd expect the large stimulator dries with a little yellow will probably still work. I was able to get some heat treated wood from the gas station between Townsend and the park a month ago. Not exactly cheap but it had rained and was dark. I found my o...
Will this turn over?
It definitely wouldn't be ideal, and with big bugs I doubt it would work. If you're completely averse to tapered leaders, maybe try some 40lb in the butt section, or use a braided leader as they seem to be getting popular lately. ...

re: Broken Bow, OK - LSUtiger17
I think the park is really nice. There are a lot of fishing opportunities on the river, plus there's the lake where I'm sure you could take a boat out. There are some hiking trails around too. Besides that, the town looks to be pretty bare....

re: Greek islands recommendations - LSUtiger17
Where on Crete are you staying? We covered the entire northern western side of the island in a day, albeit I'm sure we missed a lot of sights. It seems like most of the nice sand beaches are on the western side of the island. It's a surprisingly large island, and travel takes a while because the roa...

I spent two weeks in Poland over the summer and my girlfriend's family spent most of the time forcing me to 'sample' a ton of vodka. Everyone agreed this is the best over there, and it seems to be the big th...
I went about 4.5 miles from the parking area and the river stayed more or less than same width. I talked with a guy who was staying at campsite 24, which was as far as I got, who said some guys camping above him were slaying them. I've been told that's where the big browns are.
Th...

That's great and there aren't many prettier places to catch a first fish than there. That's not easy water to fish either. We only went a couple of miles up river from Elkmont last week because we had to get to a tv for the LSU game. Does it get pretty narrow higher up? I've been fishing for a while...
did y'all camp out there?
Yeah we camped in the front country camps at Elkmont and Cosby. Both are equally nice and definitely the most well kept camps that I've stayed at. There are some really nice trails close to each campsite plus they both have some good water to fish very clos...

re: The Fly Fishing Thread: Questions, pics, discussion all here - LSUtiger17
Went to the Smokies this weekend to test out my new Echo Glass 3wt and to try to get my girlfriend her first fish on a fly. The rod was a ton of fun to cast and she got a wild rainbow as her first on a fly. The weather and scenery were both amazing. Conditions for teaching someone to fly fish weren'...

Going to the Smokies this weekend to try to catch some backcountry brook trout. Also going after some stockers at some point to keep the gf interested . They just got some rain so the flows are up and the temperatures are dropping over today through the weekend so hopefully we'll hit it right. ...
