re: For the love of ife, when will Europe fight back? - LSUtiger17
They seem to be trying too but it might be too little too late. I lived in France for 6 weeks this summer and have travelled across southern Europe during that time. In France there were armed soldiers with assault rifles and full body armor all over the place. Any event of any size and at every tra...

re: Any recommendations for four days in Switzerland? - LSUtiger17
Everyone that doesnt know shite about switzerland is going to say Interlaken
Nothing wrong with Interlaken. Sure it's not your typical Swiss town, but it's close to 2 great ones in Thun and Spiez. Plus you can get to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald from there very easily. It's a hub t...

re: Any recommendations for four days in Switzerland? - LSUtiger17
If you go to Interlaken, make sure to spend half of the day in Lauterbrunnen. It's a 7 franc train away. One of the most amazing places I've been. It's like a fantasy world there...

Got Free Tickets to Rihanna and Big Sean - LSUtiger17
I came into some free tickets to this show tonight in Lyon, France, through a friend who met one of Rihanna's personal security guards last night. Has anyone seen either of them live? I can enjoy their hits but don't know 90% of the stuff off of their new albums. I'm trying to figure out if I can ha...

I'm currently in Cannes and had no clue of the attack until a friend in the US texted me. We're in our Airbnb now. Everything's gotten really quiet here since the news got out. ...

re: Running of the Bulls in Pamplona - LSUtiger17
Well, we all survived. Seven of us went and I think every one of us has some scratches and bruises but no one got gored or sent to the hospital. There is a picture of one of the guys in the group getting stomped on by a steer as they entered the stadium floating around on a few major news outl...

re: France vs Germany Match Thread | 2 p.m. CDT | ESPN - LSUtiger17
I'm in Lyon and am about to go grab some food and set up at a bar to watch the match. Pulling for France but I'm sure I'll regret that decision when I can't sleep at 4am due to the yelling. I'm living half a block from the FanZone in Lyon and it gets as loud as LSU campus on gameday sometimes (minus...
Plenty of spots around town to buy gear. Party in the town square and the surrounding streets.
Do you know how the pricing is? I'm in Lyon and considering picking up some white gear and a red headband if I can before I leave for Pamplona tomorrow. Europe's expensive ...

Running of the Bulls in Pamplona - LSUtiger17
Does anyone have any experience with the event? I'll be in Europe for most of the summer and a large portion of my group >20 wants to make the 8 hour drive over in early July. It looks like if we do go, we'll probably be relegated to sleeping in a tent campsite outside of town. I'm in my 20s, and th...

re: Jackson Coosa HD Kayak - LSUtiger17
I have the Big Rig, and highly recommend it if you're looking for something that's really stable. I fly fish out of mine and the open floor space plus the stability made the big rig an easy decision. It's not as fast as my friend's Tarpon, but I can still keep up and I enjoy the physical element of ...

re: The Fly Fishing Thread: Questions, pics, discussion all here - LSUtiger17
Has anyone fly fished around Interlaken, Switzerland? I'm going to be in Europe this summer and will be in Interlaken for a long weekend. It would be great if I could take a half day to fish somewhere, and I'm thinking this would possibly be the best stop for me to try....

re: Eleuthera Trip (photo heavy - fixed) - LSUtiger17
That's a badass looking trip. I've been looking hard at a DIY bonefish trip but can't find the time to fit it in this summer unfortunately. Bonefishing in Nassau, Bahamas was my first guided flyfishing trip when I was in highschool. Congrats on the DIY catches. It's a lot more rewarding, for me at l...
