That place has fantastic food and the lunch buffet is an incredible value. On Saturdays I think they add a few things to it. I haven't been for dinner so I can't comment on that aspect.

That about sums it up. Not an area many baton rougeans hit up for meals these days.

I'm a big fan of that place. I think they have more on the lunch buffet on Friday and Saturdays. The chicken in peanut sauce is good, good coconut soup, the Thai beef salad is excellent, I like the green papaya salad.

Well, that's stupid. All of the good Vietnamese places are on Florida. You've got the lunch counter at La Morenita serving authentic Mexican for cheap and you have Thai Pepper. Lots of good eats in that part of town. We eat out there pretty regularly.

I think the lemon grass soup they have is better than rama, I haven't had anything I didn't like on the buffet.

Agree. I get a craving for that soup at least once a month. The basil chicken is a consistent winner.

The Mandeville Thai Pepper folks started the BR one, but sold it a number of years back.

Thai Pepper is by far the best Thai place in BR. And it's sooooo much faster than Rama

This. Florida also has Ronnie's, Montalbano's, and the good Podnuh's.

It is a great place to go after work if you need fast service and no wait. I like ordering off the menu in the evening better than buffet.

My one complaint about the lunch buffet is that they do not offer a wider variety of curry dishes. They have a few staples they rotate that please the majority. I understand that from a business perspective, I just need something to complain about.

Had Thai pepper for lunch today. Everything is good as usual and healthy. Only complaint is that they overstuff the omelette
