Actually i think if youre down to youre last five players they don't foul out anymore. Lakers did something along those lines like 2 years back

Yeah I remember that. I thought that was rock bottom for them but this year isn't any better

Happy OKC is losing but now I'm depressed again about last Night.

I don't know why, but I can't get over yesterday's loss. There have been some heartbreaking games and inexplicable losses this season for sure. But I'm just as pissed right now as I was last night. I mean, Nuggets were resting dudes.

Because we gave the game away at least 3 times. It's going to sting until we make up for it with wins we weren't expecting, but this team has been doing that all year.

I mean seriously, it is ridiculous.

Your superstar puts up
16/28 fg (57.1%)
0/1 3pt
4/6 ft (66.7%)

14 rebounds
7 assists
2 turnovers
1 steal
9 blocks
36 points

you still lose. What more do you want him to do? He has a PER of 31.67, WS 11.4, 124 ortg, 101 drtg, plays 35.8mpg, and yet your team can't help itself by derping it away.

Just to show how ridiculous this is...
Tyreke: 17.2 PER, 3.4 WS, 102 ortg, 108 drtg, 34.7MPG
Asik: 15.6 PER, 4.0 WS, 112 ortg, 105 drtg, 26.1 MPG
EG: 12.8 PER, 2.1 WS, 106 ortg, 111 drtg, 33.5 MPG

Sounds to me like we need to play asik more. It is even more hilarious that Asik has a higher OWS than Tyreke and EG (1.8 and 1.6) and a higher DWS than both (1.5 and 0.5)

Asik was playing great ball yesterday. I have no clue what we were doing playing to their smaller lineup.

As always h, great info. I don't get it either. I get tired of beating the Monty drum and have backed off a good bit lately for positive vibes, but it's really, really hard sometimes. Besides, what is there to say that people on this board haven't said a dozen times or more? I truly believe with a top 10 coach, AD is transcendent enough at this point to carry this team to a top 4 WC record next year. I have a feeling we will be sweating it out in the 6-8 hole with minor improvements again. I'm just ready to move on. I know what we have in Monty, and imo it's not (and never will be) enough to win a title.

I'm in the same boat. I don't dislike Monty as a person, because the players really do seem to like him. Every now and then I'll say to myself, "damn, maybe he's a better coach than I thought," but the next night we see the old Monty. I think we know what we are getting with Monty, and it's time to cut ties when we find our guy.

We need consistency out of this team. We can't keep beating playoff teams and losing to scrubs. It's not good for the fans or the players.
