i'm not worried about us, but rather that the thunder have 11 home and 7 road left, with their road games not being overly difficult

we're in a better spot than we were before but i'm just scared they turn it up down the stretch with or without Durant

must take 2 of 3 here. 8 home games left. have to win 7 of the 8. 9 road games. win 5. i agree that 48 is the magic number. i think it's possible. but no more dropping games to teams under or around .500

at 48 wins, per playoffstatus.com's probabilities:

-22% chance at 7 seed
-73% chance at 8 seed
-4% chance of missing the playoffs

at 47 wins

-9% for 7th
-79% for 8th
-12% to miss

so there's the range, 48 to 47 (unless someone nosedives). not much if any margin for error

I get to 11-6 as well, just a few different wins and losses than you but very close.

I don't think the Pels make the playoffs with 47 wins over the Thunder. Dallas would have to fall back imo.

The #Nuggets will NOT face Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala & Andrew Bogut tonight. They are all being rested.

It'd be nice if we could get the same disrespect.

There are two schools of thought when resting players. One is like above where you rest your players against bad teams in hopes that you can still get the win. The other, the Spurs way, is when you rest your players against good teams because hard fought games take more out of players than blowouts. I suppose GSW wants the win and the lesser rest.

eh, not awful. OKC was expected to win this game. was hoping for a Mavs loss, but that's OK.

there were 2 games of importance. both went the opposite way we wanted. I don't know how it can be perceived as not awful. nothing good came out of today

every game is important. OKC's especially. if it was a road game for them, i'd be more upset. but it wasn't. so i'm not.

not saying you should be upset but there is no way to spin anything that happened today into a positive. you sipping that VOR juice. not everything has to have a silver lining. it's ok to accept negative outcomes
