It's illegal to fly the U.S. flag (or maybe any flag) in Daphne, AL?

I just read on Facebook where a guy is doing a BBQ competition there and they were told to take down their american flag because it was against a city ordinance.
His facebook name is "Jeff Yokeup Petkevicius".

I met this guy at the competition. He tried to sell me some marijuana from his trailer and he smelled like malt liquor. I don't think he's very reliable.

I know a guy that cooked at that competition and he said the town has an ordinance against flying any flags and yes they made 2 people in the competition take down american flags.

He is full of it! No such thing. The ordinances are posted on the city web site and it doesn't exist. He was drunk and high!
