So I ordered an old-fashioned last night, and bartender puts rock candy in it

What kind of blasphemy is this shite? In addition, it was the worst old-fashioned I've ever tasted. It looked more like cherry kool-aid than it did an old-fashioned.

I mean, she didn't have her ID with her, so they were within their rights. They should still have a doorman if they're checking everyone's IDs. If she doesn't stand directly by the bar while I order my drink, they never ID her. That was my point.

And you have no idea the amount of "bartenders" that can't make the staples.
I can see not knowing how to make a sugar rimmed chicken shite with a pickle back or whatever names people want to make up to call a drink, but knowing how to make the staples is your main job.

Especially at that kind of place. You need about 10 more years on you. Or order it at a place that is quiet or fancy. If the bartender looks like a hipster or your dad, he can probably make an Old Fashioned. If your at a $50 steak place, he better be able to make an old fashioned. If your bartender is a hot girl with cleavage showing, she ain't there to make Old Fashioneds.

I had one like this at Superior Steakhouse in S'Port. It wasn't bad but I'd need to be in the mood for it.
