Charging $10 a pound for boiled crawfish.

Ridiculous

Any other options worth a damn?

the raw oysters were expensive as well. we went a few nights ago. The chix/andouille gumbo hit the spot. that's all I got, mangg.

You literally went to one of the worst places for crawfish outside the FQ.

I can get them for $9/pound in the Publix frozen foods here. They even come with nasty looking ice crystals caked all over them.

Could be. I don't know who would possibly buy them. You either know better or you don't eat them anyway.

Of course I have bought that packaged boudin before, so.....

Can't get it in Savannah and the reputed places in Atl would take up half a day to get it.

(and it is 4 WW points for 2.5 oz. )

Just go to any real seafood store. You can get boiled for a lot less.

Try the Galley in Metairie for crawfish. They may still be pricey right now but they were good when I ate there last year

Some of the best raw oysters I've ever had though. Really clean and cold.

I'd weigh 300 pounds if I lived close to it.

Bevi has rocketed to the top neighborhood restaurant in the city. I think they are doing what they do better than anyone else in town.
