We had a fine lunch there in December. Food was well prepared and the service was very professional.

Sure, December is recent enough. Haven't been for dinner, just the luncheon specials. Didn't know how the evening/non luncheon specials menu would hold up. Online version looks tasty enough, but you never know if online menus are current or not.

Went the Friday Jesuit played in the State Championship and the place was packed when we showed up. Despite that getting a drink was easy at the bar.

Had a group of 6 for dinner and the service didn't lack at all for as busy as they were.

The food itself was really good, we all did small plates and just moved them around.

Been to Borgne several times most recently in December myself for happy hour.

Never had a bad experience and of course it's one of the best happy hour in the city. $2 for a craft beer is cheaper than you can get it at the store in some cases. All the small plates I've had are good.

What's the timing for happy hour? Looked at the website and couldn't find it, though happy hour specials were mentioned.

Went for lunch yesterday.
Ordered gumbo, duck bacon wrapped poppers, mahi mahi cooked in the bag with veggies, and stuffed bellpepper.

All of the food was excellent-A. Give the server a B-(he was pretty good, but left us for way too long of a time toward the end of the meal.

I would say that I thought it was a little pricy for lunch, especially since it didn't appear that many of the entrees came with a side or anything.

The happy hour special at the bar sounded really good. I think the extend it till 7 on Tuesdays.

It's delicious. Servers have great recommendations.

Grilled octopus is awesome. Eggplant sticks with that whipped cheese. Yum. So much good stuff there. Desserts are good too. I think it's the mousse that's the best.

Wine pours are generous too.

It does extend til 7 on Tuesday. I usually go once a week for happy hour, I haven't eaten the food but my wife enjoys it.

I go before almost every Pelicans game I attend. Other than one bad server which I think they fired it has always been great. I usually get small plates because all of them are so good and the gumbo.

I went there on a recent Sunday between the Basquiat exhibit and the king cake festival... Happy Hour prices were in effect and it's a damn good one... The missus had an app she liked (I wanna say a mushroom risotto)..

Previously, only been before Saints games..

I'm not a huge fan of the decor, but for a hotel restaurant, it's fine... I'd probably have to be in the area for something else to choose go there with other options..

Went last night....overall good experience. Tapas: a chorizo/mahon toast, orichette & oxtail. Duck gumbo, turtle soup, fried oyster wedge salad, roasted octopus salad, hangar steak. I had bites of most, everything was good to better than good. A couple of impressions: the center of the room was deafeningly loud. Dunno if the sides/corners are any quieter, but it's not a place for the hard of hearing. Menu format (individual small pages on a tiny clipboard) was annoying; you have to fold the pages up, they don't stay up, awkward to hold, etc. Service was fine, friendly and casual.
