Starting Friday night I was experiencing some stomach and lower back pains. Woke up in the middle of the night and had two big shits. (Not diarrhea) the next day I had stomach pains and lower back pains throughout the day. Also a feeling of needing to burp but can't. Sunday the lower back pains have gotten better but still having stomach issues. Have been nauseous pretty much every day just off and on and not severe. Woke up today and have felt the same way, feeling like I'm going to burp and my stomach hurts. No bloody stools, no diareha, no fever. I take Prilosec for heart burn. Think it could be a stomach virus or mild food poison?

Haven't drank a lick. Haven't gone to the dr because it hasn't been serious. If I had a bloody stool I would go. I just haven't ran a fever or anything. So kinda confused on what it could be.

no way to know without getting checked out, but sounds like it could be pancreatitis:

go on liquids for 2-3 days......seriously.

Then gradually get solids back in your diet with low fats.

Dehydration may have wrecked you along with low fiber intake.

I had an intestinal infection with those exact same symptoms. Picked up on an abdominal CT after being in pain like you for 4 days.

A few days of levaquin fixed it up.

Go to the doctor.

It could be a gallbladder issue, an ulcer, diverticulitis, etc. I have even had a kidney stone give me symptoms similar to what you are describing. You need to go to a doctor and let him check it out. They may want to scope you, depending on your age. If they want to go that route, do it. You may be opposed to a doctor "shoving a camera up your arse" but a camera is far less intrusive than both his arms up there cutting cancer out.
