Ummmm no our offense had 40 plus sog. Defense only gave up 22. I think you misunderstood. Said HABS hit that mArk not that they gave up that many.

That means that all you need to do is play at less than a point/game pace. And even then you only miss if both the Bruins and Sens play insanely great.

That makes me feel a little better, but I am still nervous of a Capitals epic collapse with this being their remaining schedule...

However, then again they sure will be playoff ready if they can get hot against these teams.

Caps tend to choke in the playoffs, not the regular season. They should be okay.

Now, what has Wilson done to piss off every ref in the league? That guy gets more whistles for borderline infractions that no one ever gets sent off for. And I don't mean the refs are out to get the Caps, just Wilson. He does something that, say, Chimera would do like a post-scrum facewash, yet Wilson will actually go to the box for it. It's amazing. He's now getting called for being a serial embellesher, and just got fined by the NHL for this:

I fail to see how that is a dive. And even if it is a dive, I fail to see how it is a dive worthy of a fine.

Six matinees today, four of them really good matchups. Wings need a win badly as they are backing up for that eight spot.

Letang just got shoved behind net and fell backwards and drilled his head on the boards behind the goal. Couldn't get up or off ice under own power. Concussion history. He's done for the year, as are the Pens without Tanger. Zero chance at a run without him, zero. Invaluable.

Pens win and take over 2nd in Metro from Isles. Crosby goal and 2 assists.

The latest update is a disturbing one: Letang is undergoing evaluations at a hospital and the team doesn’t anticipate more news until Sunday.

Yep, RIP season.

Man that sucks he is such a good defenseman. Sorry the rangers disappointed y'all this afternoon. Hanks first game back in two months.

Preds almost pissed the game away vs the capitals. Can't believe the dive call on Ovie that was pretty much BS

Yeah, he was close to winning the Norris this year. He's had a phenomenal year, to follow up that stroke last year, this really really sucks. But, gotta protect him for the future, can't have a repeat Crosby situation...this is a significant concussion on a player that has a fairly bad concussion history.

It was like 2 games ago where Rimmer said Jenner and Dubinsky had only played 5 games together so far this season.

Besides Bob, those are probably the two most important guys on the team. The squad is so much better when they're both healthy.
