Made chicken sausage gumbo. Large amount. Will put some in the freezer and take some to Son and DIL when we have lunch tomorrow.
Wife has been on a corn bread jag so will make another batch tomorrow. She alternates that and french baggettes. I don't think we've had a loaf of bread in this house in 15 years. Odd, because when we were first married she loved white bread.

I've got a rack of baby backs in my smoker now along with two chicken breasts. I'm not neglecting the baked beans like Boss did last night. I've also got a potato salad for the other side.

I swear I offered to take my Great Uncle out to eat with the family the other night in Webster Parish after my grandmother passed and we had her visitation. He laughed at me and said he was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that evening, just as he had the last fifty something years for supper.
