to me there's no "right" way to make a bloody mary. i like that each bloody mary i get is going to be different than the last. what's the craziest thing you've seen done to a bloody mary, and what special ingredient do you use to set yours apart from the rest?

Boucherie puts BBQ sauce in their's and it's divine.

Two things I never put in a Bloody Mary,
BBQ and sauce.

Gives it a sweet wickle zing. Very interesting. If your using a smaller glass, only do a half shot.

Most unique bloody mary is something I saw in Milwaukee (pic below). Almost every one I had up there had sausage in it which was different.
One thing that bothers me is here in the south, bloody's are almost never served with a beer chaser whereas each one I can remember ordering up North has been paired with beer.

I've had some in which the onions and celery and possibly some pickles were ground up into the bloody mary mixture in a blender. The result was a thick mixture that held up to the liquor very well and was very very tasty.

Cool thread. Had a debate about this just the other night. Does it stop being a Bloody Mary when you change the ingredients? And does a "creative" garnish count as an ingredient? Same discussion on Margaritas. If you add other ingredients other than the original like watermelon, cotton candy, strawberry etc. is it still a margarita?

I can't top the guy with the whole chicken, but there is a place in Savannah (on Tybee Island) called Fannie's on the Beach.
They serve a served in a large mason jar with a beef slider topping it off, along with olives and pickled.

I made some a few weeks ago. I made bleu cheese stuffed olives and then deep fried them. Added pickled okra, spicy beans, celery, and pickled quail eggs. Rimmed the glasses with a mixture of lemon pepper and old bay. Delicious
