Does Nick Saban hire incompetent coaches?
Does he keep people around his program that don't produce?
Is he dumb enough to hire people that aren't qualified for the job twice?

One poster said saban was laughing about getting rid of Steele even though he had him on staff making around 1 million dollars.

He demoted Steele from DC after his first season and the rehired him to an administrative role, he's been the lb coach at Alabama for less than a year I think. Dudes not a good dc, which is why he was demoted. Oh and you're obsessed with Saban

He hired him back to be a position coach and maybe he's a fantastic one but his track record as a DC and HC is poor, poor enough to lose all of those jobs.

Clemson hires Steele as the DC. Gets fired.
Alabama hires him to an administrative position. Then they needed a LB coach so Steele did it.
So he hired him then fired him. And then the AD hires him to an administrative position. Then he coaches LBers, a demotion compared to being a DC.
