Wedge with boiled shrimp, sliced egg, capers, red onion, and Cousin's Creole Tomato dressing...and a few crisp saltines to give the meal a touch of class.

Not sure yet. We're eating out so it could go all sorts of directions. Maybe seafood, maybe Asian, maybe American. Who knows.

Feels like an ethnic night. Thinking Milkfish, Lebanon, or Thai Mint.

Pork roast, rice and gravy, mustard greens, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes gratin, cast iron cornbread in some bacon drippings...I think that's all. New Year's Day meal was so good, I can't wait to eat it again. Small amounts of each thing because it's a lot of food. I might skip the black eyed peas.

Thai Mint is such a good deal for the atmosphere. I wish I still lived walking distance but the fear for my life won over.
