What is more disturbing?

Tomatoes in grits or cheese on the shrimp and grits?

The jambalya is over rice, I guess that is a plus.

At least the flounder is baked to perfection.

Pawley's Island SC, in the low country. Typically one of the better food places I travel to...despite their bastardations of coonass fare.

That menu doesn't inspire much confidence. If it were me, I'd be keeping my expectations low, order a hamburger steak, and call it even.

Tonight, it's cheap and easy: rotisserie chicken from the store and roasted broccoli.

That place pretty much sucked. There are some places around here that are able to do something with all this seafood they got on their hands. The Hanser House doesn't seem to be one of em. First and last visit

Firecracker shrimp, caesar salad a bowl of oyster stew and some blended scotch. The later won best in show by a long shot.
