My is either the "Taste of Ruffino's" (awesome BTW), it was $70 I think.

Assuming you don't mean a tasting menu, so I guess it would be a steak of some sort. $50 maybe.

Maybe it was one of the infamous Little Village specials though. I never asked the prices.

The one I mentioned was a tasting menu (5 course).

So, besides that, I guess mine would be a blue fin tuna steak at Ruffino's as well, ~$50. Probably the best meal I have ever eaten.

Tasting menu would be Stella or some places in NYC.

around $300 for two at Gary danko. I had the 5 course, she had 4 I think. it included drinks as well.

it was definitely worth it. best dinner ever.

I've spent $200 at the village in Shreveport before, including drinks.

Tasting menu here as well, $150 w/ pairings @ Restaurant August.

i just looked it up. I had:

1. Seared Ahi Tuna with Avocado, Nori, Enoki Mushrooms and Lemon Soy Dressing
2. Roast Maine Lobster with Potato Purée, Chanterelle Mushrooms, Edamame and Tarragon
3. Seared Filet of Beef with Swiss Chard, Potatoes, Shallot Marmalade and Bordelaise Butter
4. cheese course
5. Warm Louisiana Butter Cake with Apples, Huckleberry Compote and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

5 course was $111, 4 course $94. so $205 just for food for 2

30th birthday party at Clancy's. Had the entire place. That was one AMEX bill I hated paying. Plus, a window was broken to add to the bill. Good times had by all.

The wife and I spent a bit over $500 for her thirtieth birthday at Stella!. Just us, tasting with wine pairings and a few drinks on the side.

Most I've ever spent on a single meal was probably Le Bernardin. Most expensive entree was probably my filet at Prime, the Bellagio steakhouse.

That story reminds me of some similar experiences...

Per Se was my biggest nut. Couldn't tell you the exact price tag, but for the pair it was well in excess of $1k with the elections. I have now learned to keep to the script there.

So is it one entree or one meal?

Entree: veal chop at The Village in Shreveport was about $70. Not that great. Beef steak or lamb would have been better and cheaper.

Meal for one: probably August tasting menu with wine pairings. Worth it, especially since it was reimbursed.

A little over $200. Cafe Tango on 30-A, I think.
Also, Emerils Fish House @ MGM in Vegas.
