It was the Leupold on the Weatherby that looks new. Yeah, I did. I think the locksmith I sent pictures to misidentified the safe, or he had other easy jobs and didn't want this one. I didn't know what to expect when I started cutting but it all worked out. ...

Thanks for everyone's help, I was able to access the safe with a grinder. It took much less time than expected. Luckily the old man had sold off a lot of his collection before passing, as there were just eight guns left in the safe. I think they will all be salvaged for the most part, all have been ...

More bad news. The locksmith just called and said the safe is an old narcotics safe converted to a gun safe and he doesn't have the tools or time to open it. ...

Thanks for everyone's help and advice. I found a locksmith that is willing to do it at a discount tomorrow, and I have offered to pay for part of it. Even if the outcome is only guns that can be hung on the wall for memories, it will be worth it. I will update the thread as soon as I can tomorro...

It was made by american security products. In the posted video it looks like they are saying this brand is harder to pry open than the cheap ones. I am willing to spend the time cutting it if it is possible and will save the family some money. They are not worried about preserving the safe, just wan...

Need help getting in to gun safe. (Update pg. 3) - Creamer
I was recently contacted by the wife of an old friend that passed passed last year. Their house was flooded, as was his gun safe.
