I agree. Never thought of it that way until really watching one guy at the pool we belonged to. He was so happy. He thought he was a member of the LSU football team and all kinds of teams. He got to close the pool every day and blow the whistle to have everyone leave. He was anything he thought he was and that is awesome. By comparison, I feel so bogged down by so many things, it sure would be nice to have a little bit of that joy!

Went to a show he did here in DC where he raised funds for Wounded Warrior...

And I think there are so many preconceived notions about him that are just not true..when you see him in concert you see that he is really talented.

Heard an epic story about his partying at Endymion. Gained a lot of street cred as I understand it.
Did you miss my Endymion post bruh? He was a legend that night. After his gig his band and agent and everyone else with him went home. Well the Kid stayed and partied with the masses like a badass. I remember it felt so funny. He would go to the bar and order a drink by himself, etc etc. Dude was a commoner and lovin it

Great gesture by someone who didn't have to take the time out of his day. To do it for a person with downs is freaking awesome and well deserved. Both American badasses.

He got wasted alone at a strip club in Nashville and bought everyone in the place a lap dance and walked out. My former boss was there and said about 30 people at $60 a piece just because. I want to be rich so badly.

He also got in a brawl in a waffle house because he wanted to buy everyone's meal and someone took offense.

I feel like he is one of those guys that it isn't cool to like, but dammit, the guy can play every instrument and puts on a helluva show. I kinda feel like it's the same with George Bush Jr. The masses hate him, but if you had him over to dinner, it would be fun and entertaining!

They are both cool to like. frick anybody that says otherwise. I'd love to hang with both of those frickers at the same time. I wanna see GDub give his rendition of American Badass.

Rock has been great on Howard Stern, too. Seems pretty authentic.

I have never heard anything but great things about the dude from people who've been around him - concert organizers, arena managers, other agents, etc all have nothing but good things to say about him

They also say he is one of the rare ones - most stars are total arseholes.
