the lower working class is buying out there now. But I don't really see it booming. I know Hedge-Morrell own three blocks of town homes out there, just sitting. Must be nice when you don't have to worry about inspections.

While we're talking about gentrification and absurd housing prices, do y'all think anything will ever happen with central city? I've got some friends who are moving over there now. There is no way in hell. There are some beautiful enormous old houses over there that could be beautiful. But I'd rather not get shot to death.

In any sane world central city would be an extremely desirable place to live, similar to the warehouse district. It's very centrally located and convenient to all parts of the city, historic, has some great old houses. Will that ever come to pass? Probably not.

I think much better candidate for the next group of improvemers are the bad parts of Irish Channel, which is kind of a poor man's Uptown, and Gentilly, which is kind of a poor man's Lakeview.

Good point, there are still some bad spots around the numbers streets near Tchoup. Then you have renovations going for $700k there.

Yeah, you're full of it. Jazz is very popular worldwide and many Nola musicians do international tours and sell out their shows.

I'd say Vegas's economy is more based on "sin" than Nola.

Well, there's really nowhere to put anything.

I mean, the two-dimensional closet is already full to the gills.

you're asking half a million dollars for your shitty house.

take 5 minutes & shove that shite into the hallway before you take a photo.

fix the fricking curtain.

take the black garbage bag out.

its like a big 'frick you' to potential buyers.

I agree with you. I'm just saying that there're really nowhere to put anything. For frick's sake, it looks like that closet (which isn't part of the house) is 2D. That's probably the neatest that house has ever looked.

It is, just as much as asking $500k for that piece of shite is.
