Usually found in the cane field growing on a vine.

We used to call them hog melons. Not sure what the real name is.

Yeah we called em maypops. Had wars with them in the canefield as kids.

Wild cucumber. Stink pretty bad. True maypops are full of deliciously edible seeds that are wonderful. Havent seen any in years!

We always called them maypops. Great ammo for throwing at someone when we were kids.

They aren't maypops. We use to eat maypops. I don't know anyone that eats these.

Wild muskmelon but there are a number of varieties. The use to make preserves out of them. We use to use them to have wars with.

It's called a Dudaim melon. We have them all over our dove field. Not much use besides throwing them at people.
