Second Graders Eating at a Fine Dining Restaurant (Video)

As part of their Food issue, the New York Times Magazine sent six second graders from Brooklyn's PS 295 to dinner at Daniel, one of New York's fanciest restaurants. Each kid was served a seven-course tasting menu that goes for $220 a person.

My son would eat most of that but my daughter wouldnt.

I knew the short blonde hair boy was going to chow down on dessert. Poor guy must have been starving.

that kid reminded me of me growing up. i would have licked every plate. said it was disgusting. ate the bread and dessert, and that's it.

now i'd love to go in there and have the 7 course meal

Yes. Rowan seemed to have a more refined palate than his compadres.

I loved how they rarely listened to the explanation of the dish, just talked all over him.

Loved it. Rowan is a very well mannered little boy. Kudos to his parents for raising him right!
