Does he have to excuse himself? Would people accuse the committee of corruption if Ole Miss got in and State didn't.

And one of the two would likely be the SEC champ

State could beat Ole Miss and lose to Bama.

There are scenarios where they could round-robin with Auburn and Auburn wins the SEC and they could fight for the 2nd berth.

Well, LSU could still win the SEC, should we talk about that?

What this guy is saying is dumb but using the excuse they play each other doesn't really work.

Lsu and Alabama played each other in 2011. Rematches happen

this is the most likely scenario to me. I think State could easily lose three games, but you can say that for any SEC west team at this point

This has already been planned out. Manning would recuse himself from voting if Ole Miss is in.

The SEC is not getting 2 in. May get none in if last weeks form holds up.

While fun to watch it was a multiple bid killer to a shut out killer if the SEC champ has 2 losses.

at may get none in.

a 2 and even possible 3 loss SEC champ is absolutely getting into the 4 team playoff this season.

This.

The committee actually wants people to watch the playoff. Even the most hated SEC team draws viewers (if only to hope to see them lose).
