I just got some LA crawfish tails from Tony's. I'm making étouffée.

I have 8 boudin balls to snack on while it cooks.

Chili (ground beef and ground buffalo).

I've never had buffalo before. I mixed it with the ground beef because the buffalo was an impulse purchase and I couldn't decide what to do with it.

Better half claims to have greens and cornbread at the house. I'm awfully anxious to see this. A pot of greens ain't even close to being in her repertoire. I can always do a deer meat patty melt if it's turrible.

Burgers (no bun) and asian chicken meatballs on the egg.

Unsweet tea to wash the burger down. Meatballs are for tomorrow.

Should be great in chili. I have used it in burgers before and I like it for that use, too.

almost always. We have Jasmine and regular long grain in the cabinet, but I really like the popcorn flavor of Basmati
