2009 Ford F150 4WD. I need to carry 34 bags of corn to the camp.

Edit to add: crew cab

If I go ahead and order a pallet am I going to break my truck in two?

Other info: everything stock except a winch and grill/brush guard on front.

I will be the only person in the truck and other than a shotgun and a box of shells it will be empty. I make KR look skinny.

You'll be fine, I haul a pallet of feed all the time with my silverado. Just be careful going over any large bumps.

I've carried several in the back of my F150. It'll be fine.

eta: not "several" at the same time. I've just done what you're proposing a 1/2 doz times the last couple years.

It won't break in two. It'll just sit down,

But you are talking bout a goddamn chevy silveraydo.

I had 60 in the back of mine over the weekend. I then proceeded to sink it to the door sills.

if you are talking 50# sacks that's 1700 lbs. if it wont carry that burning it to the ground and replacing with a chev is the only correct option. seriously should be fine but don't forget to take pics and post your results on monday

I've hauled somewhere around 25-30 bags of quicrete (80lbs) in the bed of mine.

No problem.

Ford's max payload is higher than Chevy's, so that may not be a viable plan.

Don't worry bout the mule just load the wagon.

1700lbs (34*50) You should be ok. Just keep checking the springs if you got a little bend in em once loaded you're ok

Let me get this straight. You started a thread to ask if you could put 34 bags of corn in the back of a full size pickup truck? There will be 0 issues with having that in the back of your truck.

the only thing that will make this thread better is that they are actually 40lb bags of corn.

I had 17 bags of wheat and 17 bags of 13-13-13 in it last week. I was more worried about carrying a pallet of corn which would be 40 bags.

I think I have done it before, but was worried if I was damaging my truck.

Should've leveled it and then you wouldn't have had that problem
