re: Aluminum Boat Painting - GEAUXLPOST
Thanks. I don't have a clue of the process that was used to paint it initially. Looks to be well done, but has a lot of scratches and whatnot, so I was just looking to freshen it up. ...

Aluminum Boat Painting - GEAUXLPOST
Recently bought a used aluminum bay boat. The interior is painted with a white-ish non skid type paint. It kind of has a feel of having sand in the paint. I was planning on hydroturf, but I'm thinking about just repainting the inside for now. Any tips on getting the surface prepped? Does this need t...

Boat Registration Question - GEAUXLPOST
I just purchased a used boat from a Mississippi owner. Last boat I bought, 2 years ago, I had to get a tax form signed twice before they would give me registration. As stated on the tax sheet, the tax on used boats ended on 7/1/2016. Is this form even still required since no tax will be due? ...

re: Fiberglass vs custom aluminum bay boat - GEAUXLPOST
I just bought a used 20' Gaudet. It's CC with lots of floor space. I went aluminum because in my mind it's less to worry about. I'm pretty OCD with stuff, and I didn't want to worry about anything banging into it etc.. I also do a lot of crabbing, jug lines and all, so I feel much better about getti...

re: Is Xpress still the gold standard in aluminum hull bass boats? - GEAUXLPOST
Nice boat  I'm stuck between buying a used 18' express bass boat or a custom 20' bass/bay hybrid. I fish mostly salt inshore for redfish, but also fish fresh a good bit. Cant make a decision....

re: It's almost garden time boys! - GEAUXLPOST
Think I may be both too late and too early to this... I purchase some small plants from Lowes about 2 weeks/10 days ago before I did any real research. I bought 1 mint plant, Basil, 1 cherry tomato, 1 ichiban eggplant, red bell, yellow bell, Jalepeno, and a Tabasco. I have them all in pots and t...

re: Selling a Boat - GEAUXLPOST
Prodigy with a GatorTail. Looking at more of a fiberglass bay/flats style boat. The prodigy suits my needs fine, but I think I would be better off with a fiberglass boat. The main reason I went with this set up is for ease of bowfishing, but I rather just pay a guide to take me lol. ...

Selling a Boat - GEAUXLPOST
I have a boat for sale that I own, that was paid cash, not financed. I bought boat and trailer together, then motor separate. If I remember correctly, when I bought it, I had to surrender the boat title to the LAWLF for my registration and surrender the original trailer title to the DMV and they iss...

re: Spain and Portugal in a week? - GEAUXLPOST
Just got back from Lisbon-Madrid-Barcelona trip that was 16 days (2 travel/14 on ground). That was almost too short. I'm fairly young and in really good physical shape, but I was beat at the end of every day because we did so much. That, and the fact that I was there during a heat wave with every da...

re: OT wrist watch people - GEAUXLPOST
Check out Deep Blue watches. I just received a master 1000 from them which is basically an over speced Seiko skx. they usually have a coupon code, I think the current one is "CYBER" for 40% off. ...

re: Greece honeymoon - GEAUXLPOST
Agree with all of this (especially about the Asians). Beauty of Santorini (when we stayed there), was that our view was so beautiful, if we didn't want to leave our balcony/pool, it was still an amazing day. It's amazing that basically every human there pretty much stops what they are doing to watch...

re: What's Your Bucket List Hike? - GEAUXLPOST
Mind sharing a ball park cost on that? I travel to Europe every summer for about 16 days. One year I would love a change of pace like this. I have always wanted to trek to ABC, which to my understanding is the farthest point a non-climber can go....

re: Portugal and Spain - GEAUXLPOST
Absolutely. I take pictures of all bottles of wine and all restaurants I eat at, so in addition to things to do, I usually have a good log of things and places to eat!...
