re: Older Remington 1100 info - GEAUXLPOST
I'll check on getting some new seals. The barrel is short, like 22" so I'm not sure what it would be useful for. ...

The Barrel is a fixed full choke and states 2 3/4 or shorter.. I sear he'd it on the Google and the RU on the barrel is supposed to be for November of 1971. ...

re: Older Remington 1100 info - GEAUXLPOST
That's an awesome story (not being sarcastic). Some of my company owners own a dove lodge in Argentina, and I think that's what they shoot as well. My direct boss is a competitive sporting clays shooter and has been shooting a newer customized 1100 for the past couple years. Should I go ahead an...

Older Remington 1100 info - GEAUXLPOST
My father in law gave me a remington 1100 a few years back and I'm looking for some information on it. The only markings I see is the letters R and U stamped on the left side of the barrel near the receiver and a serial number of L479284V on the receiver itself. Any idea what year this thing was mad...

re: Weekend Results - 9/29 - 10/1 - GEAUXLPOST
Went deer hunting for the first time this weekend (I'm 31). Had a small doe come in to 30 yards, and I let her walk. It was a tough call to make, but I'd rather shoot something a little bigger and let the young ones live a little longer....

re: Anyone ever had the balloon sinus surgery? - GEAUXLPOST
I had it about 10 months ago as opposed to the more invasive surgery. Definitely helped out a bunch. Sinuses actually drain now and I haven't had a sinus infection since (was having one every 3 months. Procedure was weird as you are awake and hear things crunching. Had an intense head ache that afte...

In 2015 I visited Rome, Florence, Assisi, Bologna, Padua, and Venice in Italy then visited Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Munich, and Oberammergau in Germany. Looks like I will be taking a trip in 2018 that will hit Berlin, Prague, Vienne, Vicenza, and Venice. I will fly in to Berlin and Fly home from ...

re: Currently in Barcelona- A beautiful city - GEAUXLPOST
I agree with you here. I tell everyone who asks, (and even those who don't) if you can't find something you like in Barcelona, the problem is with you and not the city. Architecture, Art, Food, Nightlife, Sagrada Familia, Beautiful Squares, nice beaches, and great culcha.. It's hard to stop list...

re: Portugal and Spain Review - GEAUXLPOST
I went to that one in Rome last summer, and I'm really intrigued by these. Both are really interesting, yet very different. The Capuchin bone chapel in Rome is really like 8-12 smaller chapels decorated and devoted to a specific thing. The Rome chapel was a bit more "creepy" in that the different bo...

re: Portugal and Spain Review - GEAUXLPOST
It can be whatever you want to call it, but I had some of the best tartar I have ever eaten there. The vendors must all be judged prior to being allowed to serve there. I preferred San Miguel in Madrid, but I definitely have lunch there again....

re: Portugal and Spain Review - GEAUXLPOST
Yes, the fires happened after Portugal, while I was in Spain. Just after we went through there. Temps were insane. Unless you were going to Fatima for missionary purposes or because of deep religious reasons, I would skip it. There are other religiously profound things in Portugal that are much m...
