I don't know shite about spinning combos but I'm looking to buy a new one. Getting the new Shimano Stradic Ci4 3000 series and am looking for a nice rod to put on it. I'm willing to spend ~$200 on the rod.

Match to a higher end Shimano rods. Castaway makes some nice spinning rods as does G Loomis.'
Better yet, if there's a custom rod builder in your area, take them your reel and let them build a rod for you.
Great reel choice by the way.....I've got more than I should in multiple sizes.

I did the custom route for years but was introduced to these rods about 18 months ago and now use them exclusively. It's been 8 months since I bought any but I seem to remember a little over $100 plus shipping. I have both the casting and spinning and love the rods. For spinning I pair it with the Stradic FJ 3000 and for me it is the best combo for the money.

As a bonus the rods are power blue in color and if fishing with several buddies and each bring 2-3 poles you can always tell which rods are yours. They stick out like a sore thumb.

I've read on other forums people pairing Tsunami rods with the Ci4 reels because they are so light. Don't remember what models, but I would check out Tsunami.

Cardinal by Abu Garcia they are fair priced and pretty smooth, and come in wide range of sizes from freshwater fishing to saltwater.

I paired my Stradic FJ 3000 with a 13 Fishing Omen Green rod 7'2" M.
I really like that combo.

I have a Kistler Carbon Steel (now Pro Series) for my spinning setup and really like it.
I know you use the 13 for your casting rod, might give the spinning rod a shot too.

You are right rodnreel!! They even have a pink rod for the ladies now!! LOL I fish with Blair 10-12 times a year & his rods are really well made & at a good price point. In fact we went in studio yesterday to record some new spots for Hell's Bay Boatworks

I'm happy with my Falcon. Lighter and thinner than my Allstar.

If you're gonna spend $200 I'd go with G. Loomis Greenwater, Shimano's offerings in that range, or one of the St. Croix Tidemaster or Avid series.
If you want to spent around $100 go with Falcon Coastal IMO.

I have Abu Garcia Vendettas on my spinning reels right now. They're okay for about 80 bucks. I will upgrade soon. I really like my St. Croix rods on my bait casters.

Is summer officially over yet? If we are in fall then this is the first rod I've broken this season.
I think the other one was a few months back, who knows.
Lake Charles tackle won't do over the counter warranties though. I had to mail it off
