Ate bad all weekend at golf tournament.... Atopped at Le Creole todat for fried chicken & red beans. They were yum.

Need chicken breast and water.

I make a black eyed pea and andouille soup for New Year's sometimes. I think the recipe is in the soup thread and it may be in the TD book, also. I pour it over rice in individual servings. Does your rice get mushy and expand sitting in the pot with the rest of it? That's what happens, sometimes. Yours looks fine, though.

Skirt steak marinated in lime juice, olive oil, and garlic. Roasted fingerling potatoes. Tomato salad.

Thanks for the tip, and I normally would do that, but the way my kids and husband eat, there will be nothing left. So, no worries of mushy rice. My 4 year old is already on her second bowl. Mommas favorite words......"mommy can I have some more?"

Correction: she's on her third bowl now. :)

Back late from work. 4 prime ribeyes hand cut from butcher in town. Grilled asperagus, sautéed mushrooms and onions.
Have some leftover potato salad from yesterday. Didn't feel like eating much during 1st half of saints game.
Drinking some wine and listening to Percy Sledge
