I don't know if you're a longtime PFT reader, but their NBC umbrella came with some instant changes that in my mind prove how much pull the NFL has with their distributors...that brand invincibility needs to be cracked before anything happens

I've always thought ESPN really just hit something every team was doing (quite legally for some time too) and then the NFL got the tapes and wiped them...the perception of what was on them would've been bad, but I don't think the Patriots did anything every other team wasn't doing (sound familiar) and people just want to take down the big kid on the block
with that said, any doubts are entirely their fault. burning them was a slimy move. Another great example of the NFL responding to everything and instantaneously. However, he (not espn) manufactured bounty gate and in terms of punishment...well he fricked us. Sean Payton has been about as dignified as I could imagine. I would take my first $8 million and put a PR bounty on Goodell
