I wasn't in Houston, but here in Boston the bar that the LSU alumni association uses also happens to be the same one Wisconsin fans use, so I was pretty excited to see the atmosphere last night.

All I can say is their fans are some of the worst I've come across. Before the game, they were classless (and from an lsu fan that's saying something). When they were up, they made a point to come over to lsu fans and talk trash to the point of trying to start fights. And when we took the lead in the 4th, they were even worse. I have to say, beating them last night was extremely satisfying.

I went into this game with no ill feelings toward Wisconsin or their fan base, but I can honestly say I will be rooting against Wisconsin from now on.

How were the Wisconsin fans in Houston? I hope I just got the crappy ones and everyone else had nothing but good interactions with them.

All the ones we came across were very nice and seemed to look forward to returning the favor in 2016.

The good old Baseball Tavern. Fun to watch games there.

Didn't have a bad experience at all.

During the game they cheered for their team and didn't talk trash when they were winning or after the game.

I know some Wisconsin grads.
All nice folks. I think the OP is just having to deal Boston a-holes.

....yes? I don't really understand the question. You know there are fans of teams in cities across the country, right? I said the ones I dealt with weren't good, so I was hoping to hear that the majority of them are not like that, which so far I'm glad to hear they aren't.

I spoke with some good ones and encountered some miserable bastards as well. A lot of middle fingers and classless shitty chants. They were super pissy after that shellshocking.

Only one. Tried to wish them luck for the rest of the season and compliment them on a hard fought game. His response, "Don't even talk to me, jackass!" His friend apologized and thanked me.

At the game, they were very nice. They were also very much in the minority, we guessed we had 80% of the crowd there. But no trash talk from those around us even when they went up 24-7.

They were a bit blown away by the LSU crowd, and the interaction between the band and the crowd. Several I spoke to afterwards said they hadn't seen anything like it before.

The Wisconsin fans at the game were great! They were fun to talk to before and after the game. They were always up for a drink, loved to talk football, were honest that they weren't sure how their team would play this year,... They were here for the party. I didn't meet 1 bad Wisconsin fan all weekend and our tickets were in the Wisconsin section.

Somebody is upset with the band.

When the "league" make regulations saying that the bands can't play during the game?

I sat in the Wisconsin section. Best mannered people I 've been around in a stadium. Nobody snarled about bad calls or the play of their QB or how weak the coaching was. It was a nice experience, and I would enjoy them as a traditional year to year opponent. They're looking forward to playing us again up there, as two of them told me.
