Have narrowed it down to a Hyundai Sonata or Mazda CX-5. the Sonata comes with more options such as backup camera, etc. The Sonata is an iridescent silver/blue color that changes depending on the light. The CX-5 is silver.

Here are pics

But it's still a Hyundai, right?

I'd take the Hyundai over the Mazda. Mazda is even more of a poor peoples car nowadays over Kia And Hyundai.
Weird huh? I know right?

Never thought I'd be saying that.

Of those two, the Hyundai is the pick.

They are just different types of vehicles, IMO.

CX-5 doesn't hold it's value well - resale is poor.

The new Mazdas score really well with them. I know the 3 and 6 are both recommended, but I'm not sure about the CX5.

What's your point? People said the same thing about Honda and Toyota in the '80's. Hyundai has really upped their game, and it shows.
