My buddy/pt won his fight this morning and went to be with the Lord at 7:18 am. You will never meet someone as cheerful and humorous as this guy. He handled it with a courage that few can muster. I never met EJW in person, but they did seem a lot alike. Even in physical stature and appearance. He's a rare LE officer that you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that has anything bad to say about him. If they're out there, I have yet to meet them. Hell, how many people can subdue and arrest someone. Then, have them laughing their arse off in the back of his cruiser. When the people you arrested are sending heartfelt condolences to you and your family and even donating time and money...that says it all. Rest with God Dub Ingram.

May he rest in peace. What was the cause of death?

Truly sad. RIP to your friend

My wife and I were just talking recently that it seems like people our age are fighting the cancer battle more than we can recall at such a young age.

I'm 30. Im not gonna lie, I freak out a little when I hear these stories. I used to not be like that, but having kids make you worry about dying. You worry about what a going to happen to them when you're gone.

He had it in high school and was treated. Had a knot under his arm a few years back his old doc kept treating as a abscess. Not sure if earlier diagnosis would've helped though. It was a rare kind that is very aggressive. No skin lesion, just the knot. It is scary. Never be scared to get a second opinion. If your doc won't set it up, get one anyway and change doctors.

The hippie liberals can say what they want about us hunters and fishermen, but it seems that people that classify themselves as outdoorsmen are always the first to help or pitch in when something like this happens. The OB is a prime example. Yet another reason why I think our southern culture is the greatest in the world. And for those that don't like it...they can kiss my country arse!
