After Reuben Randle left, I really didn't think we had any elite receivers left on our roster. I thought and others on this board did too that for once, we were going to be without a WR that could stretch the field and make huge plays. I was wrong, we had two of those guys and both actually ended up doing better than Randle.

imo only because of who was throwing the balls to them. randle having the benefit of last years QB would have had a monster year

Jordan Jefferson starting as long as he did while the #1 dual threat QB recruit never threw a pass.

On November 9th, 2002, I was sitting in the stands, head in my hands, thinking that I was going to be making a long drive back home from Lexington, Ky because I would be too devastated after a loss to stay the night....

I was wrong.

After the 2008 comeback against Auburn, I called Jarrett Lee our quarterback of the future.

Damn near everyone was drinking the koolaid after that game. I remember all the media outlets started pimping us as legit contenders with the recent "emergence of this Texas gun slinger"

After we "lost" to Tennessee in 2010 I really thought the season would derail.

I thought David Jenkins was going to be the next elite LSU corner.

I thought Les Miles would have been left LSU for Michigan.

I really did think we would beat Alabama in the rematch for the National Championship. That shite still hurt!!!!!!

I thought after Jordan Jefferson's good bowl games in 2008 & 2010 seasons that he was finally reaching the next level and that we were gonna have a solid qb.

Also heard of Jacoby Jones before going to LSU. His sophomore or junior year in HS my friend who knew him said he wanted to go to LSU and I laughed (thinking he wasn't gonna be good enough). Then he turned down going pro to sign with us and had a solid career and one of my favorite tigers! That was a good one to be wrong about

I was furious when we lost Dexter Pratt. Thought he would have a great career.

Al Woods, Chris Davenport, Jai Eugene. All beasts.

LSU was going to option all over Alabama's fat slow linebackers in the BCSNGC.

I honestly thought 2011 was a year of destiny and that we'd whip Bama in the Super Dome.

I didn't think Cameron's impact would've been so strong his first season as Mettenberger learned the system. Very glad I was wrong

I completely lost it at the first ending of that game. I had given up on Miles and Jefferson and left the room like a little kid. Basically, I was pouting.

Came back to the room just in time to see the td.

Felt like a fool.

Two things
1) After walking out The Swamp in 2006 I felt like Miles was an idiot and would be gone by the end of 2007.
2) Jacob Hester, there is no way he should get the majority of the carries, he was the least talented RB in the rotation in 2007.

After LSU lost at home to UAB in Saban's first year, I wondered aloud if Saban had what it took to be an SEC coach.
