When he first came to LSU I thought JJ was going to be a really good QB. Instead he became the worst QB in LSU history!!!

Believing the hype and thinking Zack Mettenberger would be one of LSU's all-time best qb's and lead the team to a national championship.

I thought Jamarcus Russell would have a solid NFL career. And had it not be for cheeseburgers and purple drank, i might've been correct.

Jacob Hester, there is no way he should get the majority of the carries, he was the least talented RB in the rotation in 2007.
Guilty as well. The entire 2006 season I was pissed every time Hester took a carry away from Keiland and Scott. In 2007 he proved he was a stud.

I completely lost it at the first ending of that game. I had given up on Miles and Jefferson and left the room like a little kid. Basically, I was pouting. Came back to the room just in time to see the td. Felt like a fool.

I was with my same gf I'm with today and that was the night of our high school homecoming. I was furious, then elated, then furious all over again because if we couldn't beat Tennessee, how could we even compete with Auburn, or Bama. I was in a grumpy mood all night. Lol

I thought that the other backs on the staff were nearly as good as Jeremy Hill and that we'd be fine if he got kicked off the team.

Yeah, no.

all the analysts convinced me LSU was not beating Ohio st in the BCS championship. it didn't help when the game started 10-0

I walked out of the LSU Tennesse game in 2000 after Tennessee tied it and missed a great overtime victory. LSU had lost to UAB previous week. I thought the team had given up, but in fact I was the only one to have done so...

"Nick Saban was coming off a loss to UAB when the Vols came calling. LSU ambushed the Vols in the second quarter with a pair of Josh Reed touchdowns bookending a 74 yard touchdown run by LaBrandon Toefield. The half was capped off with a blocked UT field goal attempt, leaving the Tigers ahead 24-6 at the break. The Vols closed to 24-15 going to the fourth quarter, but Rohan Davey hit Reed again, this time from 53 yards, to make it 31-15 Tigers with just under fourteen minutes to play.

A.J. Suggs would lead the Vols back. Suggs would tie a Peyton Manning record for completions in one game by going 37 of 59; his favorite target was David Martin over the middle (12 for 73), with the short passing game leaving Suggs with just 319 yards to show for all his attempts. Still, he threw two touchdown passes and two successful two point conversions in the final nine minutes to bring the Vols all square and send the game into overtime. But after LSU scored on their first play in OT, the Vols were stopped on fourth down to preserve the victory for the Tigers."

i actually thought we had a chance againt UM in '88.
i was at the 2004 uga game in athens. after hester's first carry and fumble ( and we all know how unreliable his ball security was ), i complained about wasting carries with the "slow, unathletic, white freshman."
i thought Freak would make us forget about all the other DT's.
i thought Justin Vincet would continue to dominate the SEC.

After watching the spring game in 2011, I thought we were in for a very long season, with several losses.

Giving the ball to him instead of Chuck Scott was in the 2nd half of the UK game was a big reason we lost that one, IMHO.

Right: told my Dad when Eric Reid committed he was going to be a beast and a first round pick.

Wrong: told everyone who would listen Richard Murphy would have a break out senior season. Solid guy, injuries really slowed him. In high school he was a fun to watch!

True but giving the ball to him instead of Chuck Scott in the 2nd half of the UF game was a big reason we won that one, IMHO.
