True but giving the ball to him instead of Chuck Scott in the 2nd half of the UF game was a big reason we won that one, IMHO.

Charles Scott was way down the depth chart in 2007. There was no issue of splitting carries against Florida. Against Kentucky Scott beasted out and Miles decided one half was enough for a guy that far down the depth chart.

You seem like a decent enough guy, but wow... Your posts are pretty much indecipherable.

That was all on Miles. Scott was nearly unstoppable in the first half, but didn't see the field again until the 2nd OT. We had that game under control and stupid coaching gave it away.

I was terrified of Oklahoma because they were "loaded with NFL talent" and even entertained the thought that we might be better off playing in a lesser bowl that we actually had a chance to win.

I thought Xavier Carter and Mike Ford were gonna be all-Americans.

So did Bowe and Lafell early in there careers. All 4 turned out to be studs.

Couldn't have been Crowton huh? All Miles? Hmmm.

I don't remember Landry dropping many in '12 - one? OBJ dropped some early and had a terrible fumble vs UF.

I thought Cecil Collins would have a better career than Kevin Faulk.

After LSU lost at home to UAB in Saban's first year, I wondered aloud if Saban had what it took to be an SEC coach

They dropped an insane number of passes in 2012.

They did and they struggled with getting separation at times. Everyone was talking about how we didn't have that one elite receiver like Bowe, Randle or Lafell.

After the 2009 season, I thought Jordan Jefferson was going to improve and develop into a real good QB. Part of it was wishful thinking, and part of it was expecting progressive improvement from his 2009 numbers, which were good, especially considering he played with a shaky OL.

I think he could've made a lot more improvement with a different OC, but he just never did turn the corner in his development with Crowton and Studrawa.

After the 09 season I really didn't think Miles would ever beat Saban or Myer again. Glad I was wrong. I'd say the thing I most commonly get wrong about LSU football is underestimating Miles. Lots of people and especially media are guilty of this as well.

Based only on the little I saw of him, he could have been one of the greatest Tigers.

What a friggin' waste.
