What kind of snake is this?

Found it doing yardwork, my mother told my son to kill it. Couldn't find anything on google images.

DeKay's. If you look up "most harmless snake" in the dictionary, there is a picture of one of those.

Good for pest control. They make great pets as well.

9/10 snakes in LA are non venomous btw.
