91-95 i was in my element on country music

lots on panties dropping and blue balls to these guys. what are your thoughts on my favorites from that time?

Clay Walker
Tracey Lawrence
Rhett Akins
Mark Chesnut
Clint Black

didnt get much better than that

of course you had King George and Garth at the top of there game but these were the second tier that i loved.

what say you?

My favorites from that period were Clint Black, Mark Chestnut, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Patty Loveless(still love her), and Travis Tritt.

I recently made a 90's Country list on Spotify that includes most of these. Given the direction that radio country music has now gone, it makes those guys appear even better than I thought they were at the time. Really good music!

Just looked this up for a trip down memory lane. Graduated high school in 93, and that subsequent summer was one of the best summers of my life. Most of these songs were a soundtrack for that summer, even the song That Summer.

Mark Chestnutt still puts out music, I heard some on Spotify not long ago....still damn good. Just a good ol boy from Beaumont. Another is Tracy Byrd, got to meet him several times, really nice guy.

I'm too young to remember the real popular ones at the time, as I was born in '94. But I do remember that song by Tim McGraw "I Like it I love it" being really popular.
