I'll likely bbq or smoke some stuff and I wouldn't mind boiling a sack of crawfish sometime soon.

One of the reason I live by the coast is because of the salt water.

Oh shite, I forgot you were going to Grand Isle. I'll take anything I can get, in that case. I like it all.

Went visit the folks in Alabama then right after that had a bachelor party @ Hangout Fest and now my parents + aunt and uncle have this weekend they want to get together on the beach. I'm not complaining, despite a shrinking bank account and a growing waistline..

But hey can't get much healthier and cheaper than catching your own fish to eat, eh podnah?!

Fresh fish on the half shell would be so good, but alas, I have no access to that this weekend. I think I might have a few in the freezer, though.

I haven't had good old burgers and hot dogs in a very long time. I love grilled hot dogs a few times a year. I might make cute dimpled thick burgers unsmashed and some hot dogs, corn on the cob, some slaw (maybe nikinik's blue cheese slaw) and some other sides I have yet to come up with for at least one meal this weekend, either Sunday or Monday. The leftovers will be nice.

Memorial Day is always a burger, hot dog, grilled chicken and corn on the cob type day for me.

Grilled hot dogs are great Memorial Day eats. Especially with kids. I need to get in some of that slaw. Maybe make some Long Island ice teas or some John Daly's. Nice quick easy foods so you can sit back and relax.

At some point, I'm going to grill some hot dogs and make corn dogs with the leftovers. Grilled corn dogs.

Sunday we are going to boil a couple sacks, boil some shrimp, shuck some oysters and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make a duck jambalaya. I'm sure will have a grill with burgers and dogs for the youngsters as well. Lots of beer and chillaxing in the pool this weekend with intermittent periods of golf. Looking forward to it
