If I buy the wrong size ring, can they size it like the can gold? I may just steal one of the rings she doesn't wear all the time and go with that. Do jewlers have a finger they can loan out to size rings? If I go that route I really want it to be a surprise.

Yes it can be sized. For our 20th anniversary we bought BCS tickets to LSU/Bama. Ugh.

Do you own a measuring tape that can count mm? Measure in both directions. Trace it on a sheet of paper, bring it to the jeweler. Ask what he thinks.
