Since my wife wanted new cookware for Christmas, she got it.

Need to get the older Magnalite out of the way. Someone mentioned I might could sell it. Don't even know where to start.

It's about 17 years old, dark gray... 2 sauce pans, deep skillet and a dutch oven (I think that's what you call it). All have their lids.

Ideas?

The old really heavy Magnalites? Those are great pots, not good enough for your wife?

You will have no problem selling them.

oh, they were good enough...

but she wanted something new, (she's no master chef), so I bought her something new (she's very hard to buy for, so cookware? really? easy enough!)

Give it all to me. I'll make a donation to the charity of your choice.

If they're the originals, save 'em.

shite. E-mail me. How old are these MagnaLites? This might be just what I'm looking for.

<--@gmail.com

How much do you want for them? I'd pay shipping assuming it's in my wheelhouse.

ETA: If you do e-mail me, I won't get back to you until Monday morning because M-Day festivities are gonna keep me occupied. I'm interested regardless

Go back to Mecca, bitch. I actually offered to pay

But seriously, I'm interested, but if O has dibs already I won't contest it. Otis also has that North LA money. He can probably pay like $400/piece.

(Otis, if I can't get it you won't get it cheap!)

Coincidentally, I stopped by an antiques place today to see if a Magnalite pan I saw right before Christmas was still there. It wasn't as deep as a saucepan and it wasn't as wide as a skillet. I should've bought it right then! I've been thinking about it for months.

I've been busy!

It wasn't there.

Listen to me! You will regret selling them! Store them until you and your wife realize the error of your ways.

Bring a gurhka with you and his knife he will take on an inordinate number of men singlehanded. Just in the last couple of years a woman was being raped by 27 men on a Indian train. One of them jumped into it and in a few seconds every one of the group had jumped from the train wounded or simply with fear of life at hand.
