Imagine it with proper punctuation. Will make more sense then.

I hope he comes back and updates this thread. I bet he went to Houston's and got a Caesar salad.

Odd, pretty sure I saw VOR and his lady walk out of the Pita Pit. At least he said he was grabbing a night cap at the Saint.

Happy Anniversary!!

No Pita Pit.

Ended up walking over to Lilette. No problem with a table.

Great time as usual. One of our old pals is back as a server there. We even asked them to dredge an old cocktail from the menu years ago. . . the Alberta.

My wife had the special local tomato, heirloom lettuce, onion and beet salad. Followed by the hanger steak and pommes frites. Can't miss.

I started with the breaded and fried sardines with fennel, olives and citrus-herb salad. After my post about roasted chicken being a true test in the James Beard thread the other night, I decided to have the roasted poulet breast with brussels sprouts, balsamic glazed onions and mushroom vinaigrette. Was a nice choice.

The special dessert was a peach float . . . peach ice cream in a peach nectar soda, etc. It turned out to be terrific.

ETA: I had not forgotten our anniversary. Just decided to go out at the last minute.
