What's your favorite writing instrument?

I've been using a Delfonics pen for a bit and it's my new favorite. They're wooden pens with fine ball point.
I've been on a mechanical pencil kick since college, but I guess I'm too far removed from taking notes these days. Still have my 535 though.

I prefer a rollerball pen to ball point.

I like the way the Delfonics look, but I have yet to try one.
I typically roll with the Uniball Signo 207.

Whatever is nearest when I need to write something down. I can't imagine ever saying "I need to jot this stuff down, but dammit where's my Delfonics!!?"

Whatever happens to be in arms reach.
Unless you're doing something on the scale of this....
What you write with is not important.

I write with the handwriting of an MD.
With the absence of the MD part.

Pilot Metropolitan
Cheap, writes the best out of all my pens, and it doesn't look half bad.
