Finally, after all those years I get around to it.

Now on to Mega Man X2.

They are tough games. I never played the originals for NES, which I hear are more brutal that the X series. I may pick up the anniversary collection for PS2 soon. (Mega Man 1 through 8)

My best friend is the master of those games. He makes them look so easy.

Awesome game. In fact, I think it was the first SNES game I ever beat since I didn't get an SNES until a bit later in its life. As for the originals, they are hard but not unfairly hard in most cases, unlike the more recently released Megaman 9 & 10. I recommend playing Megaman 1-3 and stopping there. The other NES games aren't bad, they just aren't anything special either.

Also, this is a fun comparison of the original Megaman games vs Megaman X.

I owned 3 thru 7 on NES. Some of the toughest games I've ever played. Beat them all though when I was younger.

You can play them all online for free. The first two are close to impossible. Probably my favorite games growing up. That or Metroid.

Its not too late. It is really satisfying when you beat a boss. Most of the stages require memorization which means a lot of trial and error.

Megaman Legends is the only one I've played/beat and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I've never beaten Mike Tyson on Punch Our before, so I just downloaded it on my son's Wii U to try. I haven't played it in 15 years and ended up getting tko'd by Glass Joe before I got the hang of it again . Ive made it to The Great Tiger so far.

Yeah I never got past the sandman on MTPO. Used the code to go straight to Mike and have been shellacked every time.

The X games have aged very well.

Played and beat them all that were on NES and a few on the SNES.

Went back a few years ago and tried and got my arse handed to me guess my 5-17 yr old self was better at gaming then my 37 yr old arse.

Same, I apparently use to be awesome at Mega Man and thought the games were easy and had no issues with the NES ones. Tried playing them on an emu a few years ago and got the shite beat out of me. I hate Mega Man.

Anyone remember the old NES game:

"The Adventures of Bayou Billy"? I always played it, but didn't have the gun so I never was able to get past the helicopter mission.

Megaman is easily my favorite series of games. I used to put some time into it.

Megaman x2 was the one I played the most.
