Like I said we are going WR in the 1st round.
You don't see them bringing in any 1st round prospect LBs, CB or OL do ya?

Kind of a waste of time. We'd have to move up to 17ish to get him.

We don't hear about every meeting.
Also it's smart that if you have 3-4 guys at the same position bunched together you want to get extra evaluation.
As another example, they may not meet with Mosley because they either figure he won't be there or that they trust the evaluation enough to take him on the spot if he somehow is.
I do agree that if they haven't meet with any corners and don't do so before the draft then that may not be a first round option for them because quite a few are bunched together.
In short, they are just doing their homework.

But they have been to other pro days and the combine and showed no interest in any first round prospect defensive players or o line. All the guys they showed interest in are 2nd round or later guys.

I'd take him. Most well-rounded WR in the draft, IMO. Keep in mind he was extremely productive in run heavy offense his entire career here. Only thing I don't like about OBJ is his inconsistent hands. He can make some spectacular catches and then come right back and drop the easy one.
I read an article awhile back that made the case you could say OBJ is a top 2-3 WR easily in the draft. Was an interesting read and brought some good points up about him. How productive would he be in a more pass friendly system in his career?

Who do you think is more versatile?

And again, maybe we've meet with some we never heard about. Not all these meetings get leaked.

Someone who can run decent routes and doesn't shite the bed in big moments for starters. You don't need to spend a first rounder on one "versatile" guy and risk him in the return game. I'd take Matthews 100/100 times over obj as he is a much more polished wr with better hands. If you want to go the small speedy route, cooks is in another league speed wise and is a more consistent presence at wr.

I think on the surface Watkins might be better but he was also in a more pass friendly offense. What I'm saying is I think Backham can be the most well-rounded WR in the draft because he was in such a run heavy system here. He didn't get to display all his ability and didn't get as many opportunities as he should've. I think he has a higher ceiling than Watkins. I know Watkins is the popular pick but we'll see. Couldn't go wrong with either one. Watkins is the much sexier pick because of all the extra opportunities he likely had in that system in Clemson.
