Yes, this will be my third year going. Make sure you get there half an hour before it opens so you are inside waiting for the beer to start flowing. well worth the price of admission.

You can manage to get pretty sloppy without really trying. I got my third tattoo after this event last year.

ZAPP'S International Beerfest quote: Not that same old ATC stuff again? Not to hijack this thread, but I have a suspicion that this time will be worse for us. But we shall see. I have heard (not claiming truth at all) that the ATC wants the distributor to sell the beer to the non-profit, then donate the exact amount back to the non-profit.

Zapps will die without homebrews. I wont go.

So will everyone of the festivals. We shall see. I am bringing our "club" attorney to ensure I don't act a fool or make it worse for us

Get some clarification on growlers while you're at it.

I heard the same thing...

Sounds like a bunch of hoops for the small local breweries to have to jump through.

I'd imagine you can say goodbye to cool one off beers from local breweries at festivals.

IF true, the ATC will effectively kill off our beer festivals for the year, until we get the laws changed like OR and Washington had to do

Sorry, I did not mean to drag down this thread with talks of potential disaster.

Brasseurs has a ton planned for Zapp's, so get excited.

Well for those who do go to Zapp's (pending announcement of homebrewers being there), I will more than likely go but be a DD (Not drinking March 10-Apr 2).

Yes, let's refocus.

I have an imperial version of my ginger hibuscus saison ready to go for it. Weighs in at 8.9%. A little scale mistake and then 81% efficiency made for a super saison.
